As the leader of the Vendor Division at First American, Rick works with an experienced team dedicated to developing integrated vendor finance programs for some of the nation’s most successful companies. Focused on innovation and client satisfaction, Rick ensures his team has the resources necessary to support vendors in developing competitive financing solutions for their customers. He values his team’s dedication to serving organizations in the healthcare, manufacturing, automation, and software markets.  

Rick’s journey with First American began in 2005, when he was entrusted with building a new team for the Direct Sales Channel. In 2014, he was tasked with expanding First American’s footprint in the vendor finance space. Under his leadership, the Vendor Division has achieved a remarkable compound annual growth rate of 50.2%, highlighting the market’s recognition of First American’s services.

Rick’s contributions to the company’s success earned him the Chairman’s Award in 2008—the company’s highest honor for excellence in character and leadership. He is a member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA), the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). Rick has also worked closely with the American Hospital Association (AHA), including serving on their Partner Advisory Board.

Outside of work, Rick’s hobbies include golf, tennis, pickleball, and traveling with his wife. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends at their house on Canandaigua Lake.
