Joe's mission is to support the Finance team in achieving First American's long-range and short-term financial goals. He appreciates the opportunity to help his colleagues increase their financial acumen and achieve their long-term career goals. The shared vision of success among all colleagues is what he believes makes First American the best company to work for and the best company to work with.
He brings more than 30 years of experience in accounting and finance to his role. Prior to joining First American in 2015, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of The Student Loan Corporation and Vice President of Operations Strategy for Discover Financial Services.
In addition to his finance responsibilities, he oversees First American's headquarter facilities. He also is a member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association's Accounting and Finance Committee.

Joe and his wife, Alion, have lived in Penfield, NY for more than 20 years. They have one daughter, Alexis, and three sons, Jack, Cameron and Nathaniel.
