He brings more than 30 years of experience in accounting and finance to his role. Prior to joining First American in 2015, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of The Student Loan Corporation and Vice President of Operations Strategy for Discover Financial Services.

 

In addition to his finance responsibilities, he oversees First American's headquarter facilities. He also is a member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association's Accounting and Finance Committee.

Joe and his wife, Alion, have lived in Penfield, NY for more than 20 years. They have one daughter, Alexis, and three sons, Jack, Cameron and Nathaniel.
