2009 marks the seventh year First American employees participated in the American Heart Association's American Heart Walk. The Heart Walk is the largest fundraiser for our local Rochester Chapter. The event features a 3 mile walk through downtown Rochester. The funds raised are used to fight heart disease and stroke through research and education. In 2009, the employees of First American worked to raise $1,210, and in the previous 6 walks, they have raised over $9,000. First American was recognized as the Top Fundraising Team for the Finance Category during the 2004 Heart Walk.
